Our B&B is located in Bagnolo San Vito, a small village near the Mantova Sud motorway exit, in an area rich in historical, architectural and cultural heritage, in a quiet location. "B&B Il Martin Pescatore" is an elegant and unique residence in the originality of its style.
WHY "MARTIN PESCATORE"
The kingfisher is a small bird, very common in the past in the numerous ditches and bodies of water that characterize our landscape. Its iridescent plumage, hidden way of life have made the Kingfisher famous. According to a French myth, the species obtained its magnificent colors when Noah left it free with the task of searching for emerged lands; due to a violent storm the Kingfisher had to fly so high that the sun was under him; for this reason the upper part of the plumage was tinged with the blue of the sky, while the lower part took on the ember red color of the sun.
This little bird has always fascinated and accompanied me in my youth, and today it is painstakingly regaining its old range. Seeing it fly very fast a few centimeters from the water arouses amazement and wonder.

This is what will welcome you when you wake up, in the tables prepared in our garden or by the pool. But if it rains, don't worry. The large breakfast room will give you the same sensations.
